Hours
Bald Eagle is open for public shooting every Saturday from April to October, from 10AM to 5PM and the six Sundays prior to Minnesota Deer Opener from 11-4. Range rates are per gun.
BESA is open to "Members Only" self supervised shooting from 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday year round except designated quiet holidays.
BESA closes in deference to it's neighbors for the Memorial Day weekend, Labor day weekend, and for the entire week of Independence Day.
Grounds
BESA Runs a 25-yard range with adjustable targets for close range pistol shooting, a 50 yard range, a 100 yard range. Steel tables are available for organized Bowling Pin shoots.
BESA has three Trap houses, and skeet course with high and low house, and a barbeque pit large enough to grill a small to medium sized elephant.
BESA has miles of archery course with 29 different stands to replicate most hunting situations.
BESA has modern club house facilities with running water and flush toilets for fowl weather comfort and classroom training.
The grounds include rolling hills, marshes, grasslands, and 100 year old Oak forests, as well as a generous sampling of assorted birches, pines and other softwoods. They are the home of herds of Whitetail deer, flocks of wild turkey, pheasant, fox, rabbit, the occasional black bear, several other varieties of indigenous mammals, including recent newcomers of possum and coyote.
Location
We are located in Washington County, at 6557 125th, just east of Goodview St. We are about 30 minutes drive North East of Minneapolis St. Paul, Intl Airport, within the South East boundary of the City of Hugo.
Driving Directions
35E North exit at Co Rd 96 East.
96 to Hwy61 north through downtown White Bear to State Hwy 96 east toward Stillwater.
About 1 mile on 96 take Portland Ave North (right by the lake).
1.5 miles on Portland turn east on Hwy 7 (also called short street).
Take Immediate Left (about 100 feet) onto Goodview north (dirt road).
Follow Goodview for about 1 mile to 125th Street. Goodview will be paved again as it enters Washington county.
Right (or east) on 125th St. Only about 500 feet just over the first rise, it will be on your right-hand side.
